This Ellis 24 has been maintained by Ellis Boat Company in Southwest Harbor. The boat has been stored inside and seasonally used in Maine waters since it was built by Ellis in 1995.

ELLIS 24 BUILD SPECIFICATIONS
Hand laid solid fiberglass with four 2″x 6″ stringers and 3/4″ marine plywood main bulkhead. Green Gelcoat finish with white boot stripe and red bottom paint. Tan fiberglass deck with non-skid surface over marine plywood. Two-part foam floatation. Non-skid fiberglass platform over 3/4″ marine plywood with fiberglass hatch. Hardware includes two each of 6″ Skene bow chocks, 8″ stern cleats, 8″ spring cleats, one 5” x 5” mooring bit, PVC guards and toe rails, and stainless steel bow eye. Stainless steel destroyer-type wheel with hydraulic steering, throttle, and shift control.
